Shiatsu massage consists of the application of pressure on the meridians, specific pathways for the circulation of energy called “ki” in Japanese. It is executed by pressure of the fingers and palms of the hands all over the body.

Shiatsu acts both on a physical level and on a psychic and emotional level. The various gestures performed on the body stimulate the body’s natural defenses, eliminate stress and promote flexibility of muscle tissue.
